The mission of competitive analysis team is to provide best-in-class competitive insights to the internal product teams and help them prioritize and beat the competition in various global markets. The role will provide an opportunity to be part of an important and priority workstream, and work with other developers and products analyst to build automated solutions to capture competitive data and insights. In this role, you will:
- Build automated workflows to extract publicly available data and images from platforms
- Innovate tools and techniques for streamlining data extraction processes
- Analyze and compare extracted data to derive actionable insights
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of existing infra.
- Work with datasets to generate key insights through automation
- Have an opportunity to be a part of frontend development workstream in the future
Experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related technical field required
- Approximately 1 year of experience in Crawling, utilizing frameworks such as Scrapy, Selenium, Beautiful Soup, or similar tool
- Proficiency in working with different databases, and Cloud technology (AWS)
- Knowledge or experience in Web Restful APIs/Microservices Development
- Proficiency and past experience in frontend development is a plus
- Self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated passion for solving complex problems through logical and analytical thinking
