Role Overview
As a Software Engineer I, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing Tower’s Post-Trade Platform, which supports critical middle and back-office functions. This includes trade capture, reconciliation, regulatory reporting, compliance, and financial analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable and high-performance tools for trade processing, compliance, and financial management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust software solutions.
- Innovate and optimize processes for trade cost management, surveillance, and reconciliation systems.
- Work on complex problems related to financial instruments, including equities, commodities, foreign exchange, and cryptocurrencies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top university.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in software development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, shell scripting, and Linux systems.
- Experience with SQL (MySQL, Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch) databases is highly desirable.

Post-Trade division is responsible to manage the firm’s new generation of middle and back-office functions including books and records, P&L, reconciliation systems, fees, regulatory reporting and surveillance – and further to achieve efficiency in treasury and finance accounting functions through technological innovation.
Responsibilities
- Developing the firm’s Post Trade Platform tools – including reference data management, trade capture, reconciliation, P&L, trade cost management, surveillance, compliance and regulatory functions.
- Works with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features.
- Works in collaboration with teams across the organization to develop reliable, scalable, and high-performance, software designs.
- Responsible for technological innovation in build-out of the new generation of middle office and back-office applications and processes.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science from a top college or university
- 0-3 years of relevant experience
- Good problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of Python and Java, shell scripts and linux system
